Born in Moldova, Daria immigrated to Canada at a young age and now lives in Montreal. Initially interested in social sciences and mental health, she pursued university studies in psychology before turning to visual and media arts. She is now a graduate of the Université du Québec à Montréal and is the recipient of the Faculty of Arts Fund Scholarship in 2021. She has also participated in several group exhibitions at Place des Arts, the UQAM Gallery, and the Centre Clark. Her first public artwork, “Circulation libre” was showcased throughout the summer of 2022 as part of the “Vitrine sur l’art” project by Art Souterrain. She is currently one of the three finalists for the Desjardins Next Generation Scholarship awarded by the Conseil des arts de Longueuil and has received a Research and Creation Grant from the Canada Council for the Arts.
